The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) was established in 1997 to assist the UN in better addressing various issues. It serves as a cooperative body between all states in the fight against drug trafficking and production, abuse of drugs, crime prevention, criminal justice, terrorism, corruption etc.


UNCSW

LOK SABHA

UNHRC

Agenda: Discussion on the issues concerning the right to freedom of expression with special emphasis on South East Asia.

The Human Rights Council is an intergovernmental body within the United Nations system responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe and for addressing situations of human rights violations and making recommendations on them.


DISEC

Agenda: Discussion on combating violent non state actors in South Asia region.

The Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC) is the first committee of the United Nations General Assembly. This committee addresses and deals with issues that are related to disarmament challenges to global security as well as threats to international peace.
