The AMBIMUN event consists of different programs that take place throughout the span of two days. The flow of the conference goes as follows:

  • Committee Briefing

  • Committee Sessions

  • Roll Call

  • GSL (General Speakers’ List)

  • Moderated/Unmoderated Caucus

The session commences with a roll call, where each delegate is recognised. The forum is further moved to the GSL that permits delegates to present their views on the agenda, in brief.

A moderated caucus is a part of the MUN conference during which the delegates are allowed to put forward motions in regard to the given agenda. This has a set amount of time per speaker and total time taken for the discussion to take place according to the delegate’s requirement. It requires delegates to use a formal register and adequate negotiation skills while voicing their points.

An unmoderated caucus is a part of the MUN conference in which the delegates have the ability to discuss liberally without any time limitations. It is considered to be an informal group discussion where the delegates converse and debate with their points without having much formal obligations.
